Ria Falvo, DABT

Principal Research Scientist

Ria Falvo is a Principal Research Scientist in the Toxicology Reporting department at Charles River Laboratories' Preclinical site in Montreal (Senneville). Prior to this transition, Ria was a Principal Research Scientist in the General Toxicology department and became a Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology in October 2016.  Ria joined Charles River in 2003 as a Senior Quality Assurance Inspector. In 2004, she joined the Study Director group and has overseen GLP and NGLP studies in the areas of general toxicology, musculoskeletal and immunotoxicology, involving the oral (gavage and diet), dermal, intramuscular, intravenous, subcutaneous and intraperitoneal administration routes in rodents, dogs and non-human primates (acute to carcinogenicity studies).  During this period, she also served as a member of CRL-MTL’s IACUC committee. Prior to joining Charles River in 2003, Ria obtained her BSc from McGill University, Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology.
