Marloes got her Master's degree in BIology at Wageningen University. She is a registered toxicologist at the Dutch Society for Toxicology and EUROTOX. She worked as a Study Director for acute and short-term toxicity studies at NOTOX, and as a toxicologist and risk assessor in human toxicology at TNO and the Dutch Board for the Authorisation of Plant Protection Products and Biocides. She joined Charles River (previously known as NOTOX B.V. and WIL Research Group Europe B.V.) in 2017 as a senior regulatory toxicologist for the agrochemicals and biocides and industrial chemicals, with a focus on biopesticides. She has nearly 20 years of experience in biopesticide regulation.
