Joyce joined the Personal Care Products Council in April 2017 as the Program Manager in Microbiology. She takes direct responsibility for the Microbiology Committee, among other roles at the Council. Before joining the Council, Joyce worked for the US National Institutes of Health as a microbiologist, where her primary research area was hepatitis B and hepatocellular carcinoma. Joyce has also worked for the US Department of Defense, where she was the program specialist for many of their congressionally-directed medical research programs. Joyce graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a dual BS in Biology and Psychology, and has a MS in biotechnology from Georgetown University. Joyce is also certified in project management.
