Deborah Dormady Letham, PhD
Deborah Lee Dormady Letham, PhD, designs new assays for the improvement of safety testing of pharmaceuticals produced in biological substrates. She has more than 20 years of experience conducting both applied and basic research using molecular, microbial, cell culture and biochemical techniques. Debbie received a doctoral degree in Plant Molecular Biology from Cornell University. She did her undergraduate work at Alfred University, where she co-majored in biology and chemistry. Debbie’s articles have appeared in GEN. Her peer-reviewed articles have been published by the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and BioProcess International. Debbie is active in Girl Scout camping, gardening, fitness club, working with her church’s children’s groups and singing with the praise band.
